Selvan has a strong background in mathematics and engineering. He studied Mathematics at the University of
Cambridge and earned a master’s in Computational Methods for Aeronautics from Imperial College London, followed
by a PhD at Cambridge on condensation in jet engine intakes using machine learning. He also holds the CQF with
distinction and studied AI ethics at LSE. He began in fluid dynamics modelling before moving into financial software,
advising banks and hedge funds on quantitative tools. In recent years, he has focused on AI and machine learning,
developing models to enhance efficiency in the finance and legal sectors.
